Ajay, a Fellow Member of The Institute Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has over 30 years of experience in Finance and IT.
Ajay has held various leadership responsibilities at Bharti Airtel for 7 years. At Bharti he headed Finance for Broadband and Fixed Line business for 3 years; Revenue Assurance function for India and Sri Lanka for 3 years and Financial Systems for India and Sri Lanka for 1 year. He centralized the Revenue Assurance function as shared services across all locations and business units of Bharti resulting in productivity improvement and reduction of manpower by 40%. He prepared and executed a Financial Performance Management platform for finance function eliminating the manual processes in revenue accounting, business planning and reporting.
Prior to Bharti he worked for Comverse, a leading OSS/BSS company as Director Projects. He has handled large scale projects of implementing billing solutions of leading telecom companies in India including managing billing operations of a large telecom company
He has also worked with Reliance Communications where he implemented and managed complete BSS stack.
Ajay has also worked for 8 years as Finance Head with GHCL Ltd, and 6 years in Kuwait heading Accounts and IT for large trading houses.
