Anurag has over ten years of experience in gaming industry, heading development of games on more than five platforms. Since childhood, Anurag has nurtured a burning ambition to tread on the different path and venture into fields that define the future.

Childhood saw Anurag frantically toying around with video games and computers that he came across then. Anurag readily identified his adrenalin rush to lie in games, rather in the underlying challenge involved in the game, a term that he later knew to be called ‘gameplay’. His schooling saw extra curriculum almost entirely substituted by this fascination for gaming and at the age of 12, he started programming games.

Gaming continued while he pursued his Bachelors Degree in Science at the Punjab University and in 1994 Anurag started his career at Aabha Management Systems Pvt. Ltd. (AMSPL) as Vice President, a techno-economic research and consultancy organization involved in providing project management, marketing and financial services to manufacturing and development firms. He moved on to Aabha Infotek Limited, which mainly dealt in networking and system integration. Projects undertaken involved managing the implementation of huge-scaled Wide Area and Local Area Networks.

His immense passion for games soon broke ground, when in the year 2000 Netillenium Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was co-founded by Anurag – the first step in the realization of his childhood dreams, games development. He headed the company as its CEO, which launched India’s first web based multiplayer service, and India’s first gaming portal, passion4games.com. At Netillenium Anurag was the lead architect of web based games and of the Multiplayer Online Gaming (MPOG) software – a software created to support multiplayer gaming over the Internet.

Extending his vision for game development in 2001, Anurag led as CEO a newly formed Paradox Studios into the realm of multi-platform game development. Paradox Studios has till today developed 100 JAVA and WAP games, over 20 multiplayer web based games, Multi Player/Multi User Games and Ladder system (High Score System) for wireless games, Pocket PC and Palm based games, and has released its maiden PC title, “BattleDust: The Championship”, under Anurag’s direction. On the Reliance India Mobile Network, Paradox games consistently clock more than 750,000 downloads a day. Moving a step ahead in the field of wireless multiplayer gaming, Mr. Khurana played an instrumental role in the development of India’s first multiplayer wireless games. He spearheaded company’s expansion into the international gaming market, focusing on diverse platforms for game development with technology partners and leading handset manufacturers.

Anurag’s interests lie mostly dedicated to gaming, and free time is spent absorbing every new game that hits the shelves, listening to 80’s music, watching movies and reading non-fiction.
