Jai N Gupta

jngDr. Jai Gupta founded EER Systems, an 800 people strong company in the US, in 1979. EER Systems has played a very important role in supporting and implementing major programmes of NASA, the Department of Defence, and Federal Aviation Administration, such as: the Cosmic Background Explorer, the Broadband X-ray Telescope Experiment and the Gamma Ray Observatory. EER Systems has a brilliant record of achievements and amongst its recent s uccesses is the award of a contract to provide the launch vehicle and services for the United Nations first orbital space launch and recovery system. Prior to EER Systems, Dr. Gupta worked at MITRE Corporation, where he gained valuable R & D experience. Dr. Gupta has published a large number of research papers and technical reports related to energy and aerospace technologies. He has served as a refree for several professional journals of repute.

Dr. Jai Gupta is the recently retired president of L-3 Communications Government Services Group. Prior to heading up this group, he was president of Government Services, Inc. (GSI), which he founded in 1979 and built into one of North America’s most successful small businesses by 2001, when it was acquired by L-3 Communications. Dr. Jai Gupta is currently President of Technautics LLC.

Dr. Jai Gupta received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, his Master’s degree from Queen’s University, Ontario, Canada, his Ph.D. from Purdue University, and his Master of Business Administration from George Washington University.
