Raj Seth, MBA from FMS Delhi, MS from Queens University of Belfast UK has over 45 years of experience at senior positions in Defense and large telecom service providers. Before joining Newgen, Brig. Raj Seth served as Sr. Vice President, O&M at Reliance Communications Ltd, Vice President, Long Distance (O&M) at Bharti Telesonic Ltd. Raj was commissioned into Corps of Signals, Indian Army in June 1967 and retried in 2001 in the rank of Brigadier as Dy. Director General, Projects, Army HQ.
As Sr. Vice President at Reliance Communications Ltd, he established and lead the Operations& Maintenance of the RCom Pan India core network comprising around 200,000 km of OFC and 100,000 electronic network elements(including TDM and soft switches, SDH/ DWDM transmission equipments and data routers) along with 200,000 utility (DGs & ACs) elements installed in more than 50,000 sites maintained by around 7000 engineers/technicians in the field supported by network surveillance, performance monitoring and trouble shooting team at the centralised Network Operations Centre in Mumbai.
